Your content never leaves your device

Importing, analyzing, previewing, and exporting your screenshots, screen recordings, and stitched results all happen locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers or any third party. We cannot see your content.

What we collect: usage analytics

To provide purchases and restores, understand feature usage, and improve the product, we collect the following data. Usage analytics is enabled by default:

  • Usage events: records of feature usage such as opening the app, starting a stitch, completing a result, exporting, and viewing the paywall. Events carry only attributes like feature source, input count, and processing duration — never the content itself.
  • Device identifier (IDFV): used to distinguish devices and measure engagement and paid conversion. This identifier may change after all apps from the same developer are removed. We do not use IDFA, do not serve ads, and do not track you across other companies' apps.
  • User identifiers and purchase history: a RevenueCat-generated user ID, product and transaction information, and purchase and restore status, used to manage Pro access and analyze paid conversion. These records can be linked to the device identifier.
  • Other usage and performance data: input counts, exported page counts, feature source, device model, OS and app versions, and stitching duration, used to understand usage and improve performance.
  • Coarse location: country, region, or city inferred from the IP address for regional usage analysis. We do not read precise GPS location.

We do not require an account or your name. This data can still be linked to a device or user identifier and is not fully anonymous. Screenshots, recordings, and stitched results are not included in analytics.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

  • PostHog (product analytics): analyzes the usage events and device identifier described above to help us understand feature usage and improve the product.
  • RevenueCat (purchase management): manages Lonto Pro purchase and restore status under a generated user ID, which also lets us measure paid conversion.
  • Apple App Store (payments): purchases are processed by Apple; we never have access to your payment account details.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained for the period needed to provide the service, perform analytics, and handle related requests. You can email us to request access to or deletion of data linked to your device or user identifier, or to request that we stop using it for analytics. We will verify and process requests within a reasonable timeframe. Some transaction records may need to be retained to support purchases and restores or meet legal obligations. The app currently has no usage analytics toggle.
